Problems of Shooting Sports

If you have ever tried to take pictures at a sporting event, you probably didn't come away with the images you thought you were going to get
when you arrived. Were your kids so small in the pictures that you almost needed a magnifying glass to recognize them?
I've met a lot of parents on the sidelines. They are all there for the same reason...they want great pictures of their kids. Some have point and
shoots, and some have Single-Lens Reflex (SLR) cameras. Some received their cameras as gifts for snapshots, while others have spent more
than $1000 just so they could get "those" images like they get in the commercials. And on many occasions, they didn't. And to top it off, they
weren't able to enjoy the game! Have you seen those weight loss meals on TV that in small print say "RESULTS NOT TYPICAL"? I think the
camera commercials should be required to say the same.
On many occasions I've heard parents talk about their regrets of not getting pictures of their children doing the things that were an important
part of their life. They may have a posed photo of them in their uniform on one knee, but none of them actually participating.

Here's a question for you.
How much have you spent on shoes alone for sports?
I can tell you that you are going to spend much less on photos than you have on shoes. But you will enjoy and treasure my images for many
years to come!
How much enjoyment are you going to get out of those shoes?
Did it seem like you were just a split second behind a really good shot? Or maybe it looked like the gymnasium they were playing in, was a
cave. Or did your camera give you well exposed images, but they just didn't convey the excitement of the game or have that visual impact.
